2.I. 2021 HOUSING CAPACITY ANALYSIS - OVERVIEW OF CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD OWNED PROPERTIES [R. ABRAMSON, B. LEAGUE, C. SARKEES, A. BARTLE]: SUBJECT: The City Council directed staff to complete a generalized housing capacity analysis for specific City-owned properties. This analysis explored several scenarios for each site and sought to assess a range for the number of housing units that could potentially be built by applying selected density bonus tracks (for housing production by for profit or non-profit developers). Results of the analysis and the attached supporting documents summarize the process and illustrate possible outcomes. In addition to staff's internal analysis, this report also contains the findings from the Urban Land Institute's Technical Assistance Panel (ULI TAP) efforts that the City Council authorized as part of developing external ideas for selected city-owned properties.
