The dining out zones have tremendously helped businesses survive the devastating effects of the pandemic -not only directly for restaurants and coffee shops, but also indirectly for retail businesses (like ours), as more people come to the streets knowing that they can safely and comfortably dine outdoors, which raises the foot traffic into our stores. We believe this has also affected street safety positively with signage, slower traffic, and more people on the streets which deters crime.
