    Jordan Cockeram, West Hollywood resident. Thank you Councilmembers and staff for adding this item to the agenda. With the rise in antisemitism around the world, it is more important than ever that we show our support and solidarity with Israel. Celebrating the 74th anniversary of their independence is a great way to do that. I strongly support this agenda item. Thank you.

    Adam Darvish, Resident. I would like to thank Council member Horvath and staff for this item in considering celebrating the Israeli 74th Independence Day by decorating City Hall with lights of the Israeli flag. As a person that left my country to have the freedom of choice and hearing what my Jewish Iranian friends and their families went through after the revolution, I believe in highlighting and celebrating Israel's Independence Day given the history and their perseverance/accomplishments.
