3.B. COLLECTION OF SOLID WASTE, RECYCLING, AND ORGANIC WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE CHARGES ON THE TAX ROLL FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-2023 [S. CAMPBELL, J. GILMOUR, M. MAGENER]: SUBJECT: The City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider whether to collect the annual solid waste, recycling, and organic waste collection service charges for residential properties (4 units or less) on the property tax roll. RECOMMENDATIONS: 1) Hold the public hearing on whether to collect the annual solid waste, recycling, and organic waste collection service charges for residential properties (4 units or less) on the property tax roll by the County of Los Angeles; 2) If no majority protest is filed, adopt Resolution No. 22-___________ “A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WEST HOLLYWOOD ADOPTING THE REPORT PROPOSING TO HAVE SOLID WASTE, RECYCLING, AND ORGANIC WASTE COLLECTION SERVICE CHARGES COLLECTED ON THE TAX ROLL FOR FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 AND DIRECTING THE CITY CLERK OF THE CITY TO FILE SAID REPORT WITH THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY AUDITOR TO PLACE SAID CHARGES ON THE TAX ROLL”; and 3) Direct the City Clerk to request Los Angeles County Auditor-Controller to place the charges on the FY 2022-23 Property Tax Roll.
