I was reviewing the Robertson Lane project documents and was surprised to learn how low bicycle parking requirements were/are per WeHo code (one per 10K sf?). We need to be more aggressive about providing more secure options, particularly in locations where staff/tenant parking is needed. One Culver is a good example of recent construction that provides more robust parking for bikes. We should be looking into mandating secure storage (lockers or monitored spaces) as part of a local code.
