MOLINA]: SUBJECT: The City Council will consider adopting a resolution to rescind previously adopted resolutions that restricted City-sponsored travel to certain cities and states that enacted policies that run counter to the core values embraced by the City of West Hollywood.

    I oppose recission until we learn exactly how “the current ban has limited enrichment and development
    opportunities”—examples please. Also staff report opines: “The current travel ban does not seem to be effective…” SEEM?? Bans bring moral suasion to bear on issues related to core West Hollywood values and should NOT all be rescinded in such a unilateral and arbitrary matter until further public conversation and review. And please do NOT move this item to the consent calendar.
