I support more a more aggressive stance with under-utilized private property. This is not a rural area. We incur costs to protect and aid property even when it's vacant; generating revenue (either directly or from tenant spend) to fund this is reasonable. I understand the focus is currently residential properties, but we should continue to extend this stance to commercial landlords as well.

Being development friendly begs friendly development. Residents suffer the slings and arrows of unfriendly development. As Neighborhood Watch, I receive word of the effect this has on them, their neighbors, their children, their neighborhood and their Public Safety. It seems like we bend over backwards and forwards in order to develop this City. It is time that we encounter more of what is in it for us. Here’s something in item 4.A.; Our safety and peace of mind. Thank you.
