6.A. AGREEMENT FOR SERVICES WITH TENNACITY, LLC. FOR PICKLEBALL AND TENNIS CONCESSION OPERATIONS AND SERVICES [Y. QUARKER, S. MARTINEZ, M. GASCA, D. ALHADDAD]:
SUBJECT: The City Council will consider approving an Agreement for Services with Tennacity, LLC. for the Pickleball and Tennis Concession Operations and Services.
I oppose the proposed three-year agreement with Tennacity, LLC, including the two one-year extensions. Over the past two years, the management has failed to adequately maintain the facilities and nets, which are often in poor condition. A two-year contract with a possible one-year extension would be more appropriate. This shorter term would allow us to analyze their work and ensure better upkeep of our recreational facilities.
