I implore the city to invest more in proper crime-stopping tools and techniques for our local deputies. Track actual crime statistics, don't just throw things under the rug and say "crime is down" when everybody with two neurons to put together can see that you're lying to not only us, but yourselves. Even the FBI quietly revised the Uniform Crime Report to show that crime has gone up about 4% per year since 2020. We need safer streets, not more weed shops. Act like adults.
