Coyotes are the apex predator of the region, they keep other populations from exploding and becoming problems. People should learn how to live with the coyotes and not enable them to become dependent on their small dogs or cats. Similarly, people should learn proper methods to mitigate predator overpopulation and we should have ways to conduct predator control within the city.
