An acronym CCOGIHS one can love even more what with the funds being offered. And, given that the Holloway Motel on WeHo's stretch of historic Route 66 was tapped for consideration as a historic resource in the city's commercial survey, Council should direct city staff to begin the official cultural resource designation process -- in time for the interim housing launch and/or Route 66's Centennial in 2026. Affordable housing meets historic preservation -- what fine Creative City synergy!
