DEL TORO]: SUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to send a letter to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors requesting urgent action to reduce the number of vacancies within the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and support the retention of deputies in order to ensure adequate public safety staffing in the City of West Hollywood and other contract cities.
