Hello, my name is Guille Hernandez, and I work in the Rent Stabilization Division. We’ve been asked to do more with less for a long time. This process offers a hopeful shift: a chance to clarify what we’re truly trying to achieve, align staff capacity with those goals, and create a culture of focus and sustainability rather than constant urgency. I have worked for the city for 20 years because I believe in its mission and progressive values, but we need more support to continue our work.
