    Support. The assassinations of the Minnesota lawmaker, Melissa Hortman and most recently of Charlie Kirk are showing that the discourse in the US is out of control. This resolution could not have come at a better time as our national leaders offer no solutions to the polarization facing this country. I hope this is the first step in ensuring the City of West Hollywood is a leader in peaceful public discourse, rather than the plague of violence we face in the USA.
