E.3. REMOVING INFRASTRUCTURE ROADBLOCKS [J. am a resident of West Hollywood West and I strongly oppose Item E.3. This proposal reduces public input and makes it nearly impossible to correct decisions that may harm our neighborhoods. Public review is not a barrier, it is essential for accountability and transparency. Please do not move forward with Item E.3.

I oppose Item E.3 because it removes public oversight and silences community voices.

I was initially more supportive of this, but 4/5ths rule is undemocratic and there must be a better way to streamline these projects. It seems very clear this a guise to cement the crowing achievement of some on the council, Fountain Avenue Bike Lanes. If the bike lanes were this popular, then why the need to take this strong of a stance in preventing them from being removed in the future? Oppose.
