BYERS]:<br>This item directs Staff to explore the feasibility of establishing a one-year Film Permit Administrative Fee Waiver Program to incentivize filmmakers to conduct production activities in West Hollywood by waiving City-issued film permit administrative fees while maintaining all existing fees related to public property use, street use, closures, blanket admin fees, and revision/rider fees as well as processing, notification, and public safety requirements.

    I support the Film Permit Administrative Fee Waiver pilot program. Waiving these fees while maintaining safety requirements and other costs makes West Hollywood more competitive for productions. This brings economic activity, jobs, and visibility to our city without sacrificing oversight. A one-year pilot lets us test the impact before committing long-term. It's a smart investment in our local economy.
