F.1. CONSIDERATION OF THE ANNUAL REPORT OF THE ADVISORY BOARD TO THE WEST HOLLYWOOD DESIGN DISTRICT AND ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO LEVY AN ASSESSMENT FOR FISCAL YEAR 2026-2027 [L. BIERY, P. KESPRADIT, L. D'AMBROSIA]:
SUBJECT: The City Council will initiate preliminary proceedings regarding the establishment of the West Hollywood Design District (District) for Fiscal Year 2026-2027. Preliminary steps include the consideration of approval of the District annual report and adoption of a Resolution of Intention to Levy an Assessment for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 and scheduling a Public Hearing for June 29, 2026.
The West Hollywood Design District has been vital to the success of our showroom and the community we are privileged to serve. Through its connection to design, art, and culture, it brings visibility, traffic, and economic activity to local businesses like ours. My family has operated Custom Comfort Mattress for 40 years, and we wouldn't have achieved this success without the WHDD's support, leadership, and dedication. I encourage the Council to continue supporting this vital organization.
