F.1. ADOPTION OF POLICY REGARDING DISRUPTION OF TELEPHONIC OR INTERNET SERVICE DURING CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS AND ADDRESSING DISRUPTIVE CONDUCT BY REMOTE PARTICIPANTS [J. JIMENEZ, M. CROWDER, L. MORALES, L. LANGER]: SUBJECT: The City Council will consider adopting a policy establishing procedures for responding to disruptions in telephonic or internet service that prevent members of the public from participating remotely in City Council meetings. The proposed policy is intended to comply with Brown Act requirements, as amended by Senate Bill 707, and to support transparency, public access, and orderly meeting procedures when remote access services are disrupted. The policy also addresses disruptive conduct by remote participants.
