F.3. FIRE DISASTER PREPAREDNESS FOR RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES IN VERY HIGH FIRE HAZARD SEVERITY ZONES (FHSZ) [L. MEISTER]: SUBJECT: The City Council will consider directing staff to develop fire disaster preparedness training, as well as supporting communications and resources, specifically for residents and businesses within the Fire Hazard Severity Zone (FHSZ) designated "Very High FHSZ." Additionally, the City Council will consider directing staff to review zoning and parking requirements that may add to fire vulnerability and hinder fire-related evacuations in that FHSZ.
