C.1. REQUEST TO PERMIT MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING TALL WALL SIGNS AT 8401 SUNSET BOULEVARD [N. MARICICH, J. ALKIRE, P. CAPORASO]: SUBJECT: The Andaz West Hollywood Project (Project) proposes to modify the existing West Sign by extending the sign face of the west elevation (West Sign) by 10' towards Sunset Boulevard, within the Property Line, through the construction of a steel frame armature attached to the existing building, as well as other modifications to the proportions of the existing West Sign and east elevation (East Sign) at 8401 Sunset Boulevard (Project Site). The Project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 and Section 15311.
