Full support of Item D.2. While it is rightly written to ensure it does not conflict with state or federal law, this proposal has the potential to influence both. WeHo has demonstrated this capability time and again, most notably by influencing state law with its 1985 domestic partnership law.
This harms no one, affirms natural rights to be with their loved ones, & expands options for residents in the city who need access to certain civil records or visitation rights.

    Thank you,

    Ben Bruskin
